Select the Bars tab on the Reinforcement pattern dialog to determine the basic parameters for the reinforcement pattern.
Bottom reinforcement and Top reinforcement are modified with the following parameters.
The Diameter fields impose the use of only one diameter in a given direction. Selecting Auto results in selecting one of the diameters from the list. The diameter setting is independent for each direction and for each reinforcing layer.
The Spacing fields impose the spacing of reinforcing bars in each direction and reinforcing layer.
Preferred reinforcement spacing determines the upper and lower limit of bar spacing. The condition is treated as a code requirement and applied to the entire plate.
