Select Materials in the Job Preferences dialog and click the Modification button. Select the Concrete tab to access the following parameters.
Define the following:
Name
The name of the defined concrete.
Note: The material name must be assigned before the Add button is pressed.
Description
A description of the defined concrete.
Elasticity
- Young modulus - the value of Young's modulus for the defined concrete.
- Poisson ratio - the value of Poisson's ratio for the defined concrete.
- Shear modulus - The shear modulus for the defined concrete. This recognizes the influence of shear forces on structure deformation.
Resistance
- Characteristic / design resistance
- Sample type (cylindrical or cubical)
Others
- Force density (unit weight) - the density (unit weight) of the defined concrete.
- Thermal Expansion Coefficient - the thermal expansion coefficient for the defined concrete.
- Damping Ratio - the damping ratio for the defined concrete.
