You can restart calculations in order to modify calculation parameters or solving methods for an analysis type, and also to run calculations for a selection of cases only.
The Calculation Restart dialog is available only if full calculations have been made first.
- Click Analysis
Calculation Restart. The Calculation Restart dialog opens.
- Select a case for which you want to restart the calculations.

- Click Define parameters. The calculation parameters corresponding to the selected case opens.

- Modify analysis parameters as necessary, and then click OK. The edited case is selected and ready to be calculated again.
Note: With some analyses, such as the Modal and Seismic analyses, modifying the calculation parameters of a case may require that the results of another case be calculated again too. In that case, all necessary cases are selected for calculation in the dialog.
If you deselect a case for which parameters have been modified, then a red icon appears next to the case.

- Click Restart calculations.
The Calculation dialog opens, showing the progress of the calculation process.
