Use this dialog box to view and change pressure network-related settings.
This topic documents settings in the pressure network Edit Settings dialog boxes (feature settings and command settings).
- Feature settings inherited from the drawing ambient settings are identified by the drawing icon in the dialog boxes. For more information about these settings, see Ambient Settings Tab (Drawing Settings Dialog Box).
- Feature settings for pressure networks are identified by the pressure network icon.
- Command settings for specific pressure network commands are identified by the command icon.

Default Styles
Use these settings to establish the default styles assigned to pressure network components. For each of these items, click in the Value column, and click to select the style or parts list.

Ancillaries Default Style

Specifies the default style for ancillaries in pressure networks.

Fitting Default Style

Specifies the default style for fittings in pressure networks.

Pressure Pipe Default Style

Specifies the default style for pipes in pressure networks.

Specifies the label style used for fittings inserted into the pressure network in plan view.

Default Name Format
Use these settings to specify the default name formats for pressure network components. Click in the Value column, and click to make changes in the Name Template dialog box.
Default Profile Label Placement
Use these settings to establish the default placement of profile view labels associated with the pressure network. You can specify the following settings for pressure pipes, fittings, and ancillaries:
- Dimension Anchor Option

Specifies the location of the dimension line anchor for profile view labels for pressure networks:

Fixed: Places the dimension line anchor at a fixed level on a profile view. Specify the level in the Dimension Anchor Level Value field.

Above: Moves the dimension line anchor up the distance specified in the Dimension Anchor Level Value.
-
Below: Moves the dimension line anchor down the distance specified in the Dimension Anchor Level Value.

Graph View Top: Places the line anchor at the top of the profile view grid.
-
Graph View Bottom: Places the line anchor at the bottom of the profile view grid.
Note: These settings impact the label location when the Anchor Point setting in the label style is set to Pipe Dimension, Fitting Dimension, or Ancillaries Dimension.
- Dimension Anchor Level Value

Specifies the level value to apply in relation to the specified Dimension Anchor Option. This value is used when Fixed, Above, or Below is specified as the Dimension Anchor Option for profile labels. Enter a level in the Value column or click and select a value in the drawing area.
Default Section Label Placement
Use these settings to establish the default placement of section view labels associated with the pressure network. You can specify the following settings for pressure pipes:

Dimension Anchor Option for Pressure Pipes

Specifies the location of the dimension line anchor for section view labels for pressure networks:

Fixed: Places the dimension line anchor at a fixed level on a section view. Specify the level in the Dimension Anchor Level Value field.

Above: Moves the dimension line anchor up the distance specified in the Dimension Anchor Plot Height Value.

Below: Moves the dimension line anchor down the distance specified in the Dimension Anchor Plot Height Value.

Graph View Top: Places the line anchor at the top of the section view grid.

Graph View Bottom: Places the line anchor at the bottom of the section view grid.
Note: These settings impact the label location when the Anchor Point setting in the label style is set to Pipe Dimension.

Dimension Anchor Level Value for Pressure Pipes

Specifies the level value to apply. This value is used when Fixed is specified for the Dimension Anchor Option for Pressure Pipes for section view labels. Enter a level in the Value column or click and select a value in the drawing area.

Dimension Anchor Plot Height Value for Pressure Pipes
- Specifies the default plot height of the dimension line anchor for section view labels for pressure pipes. Enter a height in the Value column. This value is used when Above or Below is specified as the Dimension Anchor Option for Pressure Pipes for section view labels.

Depth of Cover
- Depth Below Surface
- Specifies the default cover value for a pipe run.
Default Pipe Settings

- Specifies the default individual pipe length in a pipe run.

- Specifies the shortest allowable bend radius of a pipe in a pipe run.
Alignment Type Option
Note: This property group is displayed when accessing the settings for the CreateAlignFromPressureNW command.

Run Depth Check
Note: This property group is displayed when accessing the settings for the

Use Min Depth Of Cover Validation
- Specifies that the Minimum Depth Of Cover parameter is selected by default for the Run Depth Check command.

- Specifies the default minimum depth of cover to check for when using the Run Depth Check command.

- Specifies that the Maximum Depth Of Cover parameter is selected by default for the Run Depth Check command.

- Specifies the default maximum depth of cover to check for when using the Run Depth Check command.
Run Design Check

- Specifies that the Deflection parameter is selected by default for the Run Design Check command.

Table Creation
Note: This property group is displayed when accessing the settings from the AddPressurePipeTable, AddFittingTable, and AddAncillTable commands.
Use these settings to establish the defaults when you add a pressure network pipe, fitting, or ancillaries table.

Table Style

Specifies the style for a table. Click in the Value column, and click to select a style in the Table Style dialog box.

Split Table
-
Specifies whether a table is split into two or more sections after a specified maximum number of rows has been met.

Maximum Number of Rows
-
Specifies the maximum number of rows to include per section. If the number of data rows exceeds the specified maximum, the table is split into sections, and they are displayed either side by side (left to right), or stacked vertically.

Maximum Tables Per Stack
-
Specifies the maximum number of sections to include in each stack.

Table Spacing

Specifies the spacing between tables.

Tile Direction

Specifies the direction in which the table tiles (across or down).
