Click Home tabCreate Design panelProfile drop-downQuick ProfileFind.
On the command line, you are prompted to pick an object.
In the drawing, select a line, polyline, plot line, feature line, or survey figure.
In the Create Quick Profiles dialog box, select the surfaces you want to sample, and the profile and profile view styles.
Optionally, if you selected a 3D object, select Draw 3D Element Profile to display level data for the object in the quick profile and a profile style for the 3D object level data.
Click OK.
In the drawing window, click a location for the lower left corner (origin) of the profile view grid.
The quick profile is drawn.
To create a quick profile by selecting points
Click Home tabCreate Design panelProfile drop-downQuick ProfileFind.
On the command line, you are prompted to pick an object.
Enter p (points).
In the drawing, select a point, and then a second point.
Optionally, select additional points as required.
Press Enter.
In the Create Quick Profiles dialog box, select the surfaces you want to sample, and the profile and profile view styles.
In the drawing window, click a location for the lower left corner (origin) of the profile view grid.
