Baking Animations

Procedure

To bake an animated object into separate frames:

  1. In the Render Setup dialog (F10), click the Common panel.
  2. In the Time Output group, select Range and enter the desired range of animated frames, and then close the dialog.
    Note: You must close the Render Setup dialog for the active renderer to be correctly updated.
  3. Choose Menu bar > Rendering > Bake to Texture to open the Bake to Texture dialog.

    The active renderer and time output range is shown on the bottom right of the Bake to Texture window.

  4. If the available maps are hidden, click Show Maps to show them in the left pane of the window.
  5. Click the Add Maps to Selection button and select the desired maps.
  6. Select an Output folder as the destination for the frames.
  7. Click Bake.
