You can mark the fabrication status of a connection and transfer it to other connections.
The fabrication status is different from the design status (which is a "calculation" status). Each status is assigned a color:
- When you create a new connection using the Create by Template (
) or Create by Template, Multiple (
) commands, the original connection approval status is not transferred - it will be Not Set.
- When you create a new connection using the Create Joint in a Joint Group (
) or Create Joint in a Joint Group, Multiple (
) commands, the master connection approval status is transferred - the new connection approval status will be the same as the master connection approval status.
- When you create a new connection using the Add Joint to a Joint Group (
) command, the master connection approval status is transferred - the new connection approval status will be the same as the master connection approval status.
- When you use the Remove Joint from a Joint Group (
) command, the approval status does not change. If a connection is removed from a connection group (_AstorDetachSlaveJointFromMaster), the detached connection approval status will remain the same as before.
Note: You can add custom approval status entries, using Management Tools. These new entries become available for use in Advance Steel models, in:
- Object properties
- Connection properties
- The Document Manager, for detail drawing status
