Access the command
In the Quick views tool palette, click
(Quick view on object).
Command line: _AstM10QuickObjectView OBJECT
Define a quick view on object
- In the Quick views tool palette, click
(Quick view on object).
- Select the element to isolate.
- Select one of the displayed arrows to define the view direction and press Enter.
- Next, define the view box.
- Enter a value for the view depth (in the Z direction).
- Enter a value for the view extension in the X direction.
- Enter a value for the view extension in the Y direction.
- The clipped 2D view is displayed.
Define Quick View on Assembly
Access the command
In the Quick views tool palette, click
(Quick view on assembly).
Command line: _AstM10QuickObjectView ASSEMBLY
Define a quick view on object
- In the Quick views tool palette, click
(Quick view on assembly).
- Select the assembly to isolate.
- Select one of the displayed arrows to define the view direction and press Enter.
- Next, define the view box.
- Enter a value for the view depth (in the Z direction).
- Enter a value for the view extension in the X direction.
- Enter a value for the view extension in the Y direction.
- The clipped 2D view is displayed.

(Quick view on joint).

Define a quick view on joint
- In the Quick views tool palette, click
(Quick view on joint).
- Select the connection object of the joint to isolate.
- Select one of the displayed arrows to define the view direction and press Enter.
- Next, define the view box.
- Enter a value for the view depth (in the Z direction).
- Enter a value for the view extension in the X direction.
- Enter a value for the view extension in the Y direction.
- The clipped 2D view is displayed.
