Use the document manager to preview, manage, or erase the linked details to your 3D model.
Displays all the documents created from the model, grouped by category (drawings, bill of materials / structured BOMs, and the NC-data) and highlights the state of each document.

Details
Groups all drawing files created from the model, listed according to the file name.
If the default naming and numbering are used, the filenames include a prefix indicating the type of drawing:
[S] | Single part drawing. |
[MS] | Multi sheet part drawing. |
[A] | Assembly drawing. |
[MA] | Multi sheet assembly drawing. |
[G] | General arrangement type drawing. |
Single sheet part and assembly drawings are named after the part or assembly mark of the object they show. The drawings sheet size is also included.
Right-clicking in the left window of the Drawing Manager displays a contextual menu. With this menu, the drawings can be sorted according to different properties (title, scale, drawing style, process properties). In addition, drawings and details can be displayed or deleted.
Displays the properties of the selected item. You can sort the list of drawings according to the selected column (e.g. by Revision index, by modification date and by Issue).
Drawings
The following properties are displayed for the drawings:

Automatic detail status check box | Allows selecting the drawings for which the state is automatically checked. In the left side, the drawings are grouped in three categories: unknown, update required, and current. If the Auto check status option is not checked in the drawings properties, clicking Status check will check the drawing state. The Force update button is used to update the selected detail(s) with a single click. |
Revision button | Displays the last revision index. |
File name | Displays the name of the selected item. |
State | Displays the state of the selected drawing. |
Title | Displays the title of the selected drawing. |

Displays a preview of the selected item. Changes cannot be made to the document.
Drawings
To edit a drawing, select it in the left panel and click the Open drawing button.

Update revision | Updates the drawing and records the changes in the revision table. The Add revision mark dialog box appears and allows entering the revision details. Updates the revision table. |

Delete | Removes the selected items. |
Approval status drop-down list | Sets the approval status of the drawing. The corresponding approval status color is set in front of the drawings. |
Add to batch plot | Adds the selected drawings to the Batch plot branch. |
Add to explode | Adds the selected drawings to the Batch explode branch. |
Change prototype | Changes the prototype for the selected drawings. |
Open drawing | Opens the selected drawing. |
Checks the state of the selected drawings, BOMs or NC files.
Enables the automatic status check of the details. The Document Manager automatically detects only the drawings, the BOMs and the NC files which need an update. The process is secure, since it detects the drawings that need to be updated and need to be issued again (e.g. for fabrication).
