Refit a surface to scan data

As part of the reverse engineering process, you can refit a selected set of surfaces to a scanned mesh. The refit surface set maintains the character of the original surface set (degree, spans, parameterization).

1. In the Surface Edit tool palette, click the Refit Surfaces ❒.
2. Select the surfaces to refit and click Accept.
3. Select the mesh to which you are refitting the surface.
4. Adjust refit options, as needed.
5. Click Build.
