Lets you set colors for the Alias interface. You can set colors for active (picked) models, inactive (unpicked) models, elements in the modeling windows (such as grids), elements in the user interface (such as text entry fields), and tool interaction colors.
In Alias versions 2019.3 or later, the user colors can be customized in the Preferences > Color Themes menu.
The colors are divided into sections as described below. To change the color of an interface element, click the color swatch next to it, and set the color using the color editor.
The Active and Inactive sections have a System element that defines the color for all elements that do not have an assigned color in the User Colors panel.
You can assign different colors to the same element in different workflows, creating unique color sets for each of Default, Paint, Modeling, and Visualize workflows (see Preferences > Workflows).
Define the colors of different types of objects while picked.
Define the colors of different types of objects while unpicked.
Define the colors used to draw the view windows, including the background.
Define the colors used to draw the geometry and manipulators while using a tool.
Define the colors used to draw other miscellaneous elements in the user interface, such as buttons.
Imports a predefined color set from the SampleUserColors subfolder, or one that you previously created. (see Export below).
Saves your current user colors into a .clrs file in the Colors folder.
The Defaults folder contains color sets that are automatically saved for each workflow as you make color modifications in the User Colors window. Avoid overwriting these files.
Reverses the last color change. Undo can be used repeatedly up to the limit specified in General Preferences.
Re-applies the last change you reversed with Undo.
Resets all elements to the colors they had at the beginning of the session.
Resets all elements to their default (out-of-the-box) color settings.
