Change the opacity of an image layer

Do one of the following:

• In the Canvas Layer Editor window (Windows > Editors > Canvas Layer Editor ), click on the image layer’s and drag up (higher opacity) or down (lower opacity).

• Select the layer in the Canvas Layer Editor to make it active, then type a new opacity value in the field at the top of the editor and press .

  Tip:

  To interactively adjust the opacity value, click and drag down from the numeric cell to open a slider.
