Use this procedure to convert a roof to one or more roof slabs, each modeling a separate face of the roof. Roof slab objects differ from roof objects in that each roof slab is a separate entity, defined by its perimeter, edge conditions, and style. This gives you more flexibility in controlling to geometry of the roof and its edges. Also, because roof slabs are style based, you can apply design changes globally.

- Select a roof slab style.
- Select Erase Layout Geometry to erase the roof and click OK.
- Select individual roof slabs and edit them as needed.
