To Insert Fields in AutoCAD Multiline Text

Use this procedure to insert fields into AutoCAD multiline text.

1. Select the AutoCAD multiline text in which you want to insert a field.
2. Right-click, and click Mtext Edit.
3. In the Multiline Text Editor, right-click within the Text at the point where you want to insert the field, and click Insert Field.
   Note: Alternativly, click within the Text at the point where you want to insert the field, and click Text Editor tabInsert panelField.
4. Define the field and its format.

   project field	see To Select a Project Field.
   sheet set field	see To Select a Sheet Set Field.
   keynote field	see To Select a Keynote Field.
   database field	see To Select a Database Field.

5. Click OK.
