To Add Curtain Wall Unit Element Definitions as Display Components

Use this procedure to add curtain wall unit element definitions. Before you can control the display properties of curtain wall unit elements according to the definition assigned to the element, you must create display components for each element definition.

1. Click Manage tab Style & Display panel Style Manager .
2. Expand Architectural Objects, and expand Curtain Wall Unit Styles.
3. Select the curtain wall unit style that you want to change.
4. Click the Display Properties tab.
5. Select Model as the display representation.
6. Click .

   The default list of components includes only the three basic elements and cell markers.

7. Click the Other tab, and then click Add.
8. Select Infill, Frame, or Mullion for Component Type.
9. Enter a name for Component Name, or click Select Element and select an element from the list.
10. Click OK.
11. Click the Layer/Color/Linetype tab.

    The element definition that you added is displayed in the list of components.

12. Click the Other tab to continue adding element definitions, or click OK twice.
