To Change the Number of Recent Files and Actions in the Application Menu

Use this procedure to change the default number (9) of recent documents displayed in the application menu:

1. Click to open the application menu.
2. At the bottom of the application menu, click Options.
3. On the Open and Save tab of the Options dialog box, under Application Menu, change the value for Number of recently-used files.
4. Click OK.
