To Adjust the Appearance of an Underlay With the Properties Palette

1. Double-click the underlay to display the Properties palette.
2. In the Properties palette, do one of the following:
   • Adjust the contrast by entering a new value.
   • Adjust the fade by entering a new value.
   • Turn Monochrome On or Off.
   • Set Adjust Colors for Background to Yes or No.

The appearance of the underlay is updated in real-time as you make adjustments in the Properties palette.
