Specifies the number of levels, or iterations, the render engine performs to create a rendered image.
Type: | Integer |
Saved in: | Drawing |
Initial value: | 5 |
The render engine analyzes the results of a rendered image between levels to determine where improvements can be made. Increasing the number of levels improves the quality of a rendered image, but increases overall rendering time.
Valid range is 0 to 50.
The RENDERTARGET system variable specifies whether the render engine uses levels or a time limit to control the quality of the rendered image. The number of levels is specified by this system variable, while the rendering time limit is specified by the RENDERTIME system variable.
