To Chamfer a 3D Solid

1. Click Solid tabSolid Editing panelChamfer Edge. Find
2. Select the edge to chamfer.

   A preview of the chamfer is displayed.

3. Do one of the following:
   • Select additional edges to chamfer.
   • Specify the Loop option if you want all the edges of a face to be chamfered. Select another edge on the same face.

   All the edges bordering the specified face will be chamfered. The prompts provide options to return to selecting edges, or to specify the chamfer distances.

4. Specify the distances for the base surface and the other, adjacent surface.

   The result is displayed as a preview. Enter the Distance option to change these values or press Enter.

5. Do one of the following:
   • Press Enter to accept the distances.
   • Enter the Distance option to change the values or to drag the triangular grips.

   The triangular grip for the current distance to be entered is colored red.

6. To complete the chamfer, press Enter.
