The Start In folder is determined either by the Start In attribute which is set in the desktop shortcut icon, or by the folder in which you double-click a file to start the product. As a security measure, the LEGACYCODESEARCH system variable can exclude searching for executable files in the Start In folder. The LEGACYCODESEARCH system variable is not available or necessary in AutoCAD LT.
The Start In folder can vary depending on how the product was installed and how it was launched. A typical path might be C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx\UserDataCache\, where 20xx is the release number.
