You can apply materials to objects, layers, or faces.
You can apply materials to a face on an object, an entire object, or all objects on a layer.
Materials in the Materials Browser can be applied to a 3D object by
- Selecting objects in the drawing to assign the material and then clicking a material in the library.
As an alternative to clicking a material in a library, you can right-click on a material in the library and choose Assign to Selection from the shortcut menu.
- Dragging a material from a library and dropping it onto an object in the drawing.
Note: When selecting objects, you can select individual faces by holding down the Ctrl key prior to selecting objects in the drawing.
