Save as PDF Dialog Box

Sets file options such as file name and location when you create a PDF file.

EXPORTPDF (Command) Find

When you export your drawing to a PDF file, the Save As PDF dialog box is displayed. This dialog box enables you to specify the file name and location. It also enables you to change PDF quality, page setup, and plot stamp settings.

List of Options

The following options are displayed.

PDF Preset

Defaults the export to PDF options to a set of values that are preconfigured for a specific purpose, typically indicated by the name of the preset. Presets are plotter configuration files (*.pc3 files) containing settings for generating PDF files.

Options

Opens the Export to PDF Options dialog box, where you can change settings such as PDF file quality, font rendering options, and the ability to turn layers on or off in the PDF file.

Output Controls

Open in Viewer when Done

The PDF file will open in the default viewer after the export completes when this option is selected.

Include Plot Stamp

Specifies if the PDF should include user-defined information such as drawing name, date and time, or plot scale. To edit the plot stamp, click the Plot Stamp button to open the Plot Stamp dialog box.

Page Setup

Specifies whether the program uses the settings in the Page Setup Manager or uses your override settings. Some settings in Page Setup Manager are repeated in the Export to PDF Options dialog box, which is displayed by the Options button. The settings in the Export to PDF Options dialog box take precedence over the settings in the Page Setup Manager.

Page Setup Override

Enables you to override page settings such as the paper size, orientation, pen assignments and plot scale. This button is available only if you select Override in the Page Setup box.
