Defines the method for reconciling differences between files.
The Migration Utility supports various file types for migration to the current release of AutoCAD Electrical toolset. Different file types have different migration options. There are two file migration options: copy or merge.
If the Copy option is selected, the source file is copied to the file location for the current release. You can choose to overwrite any existing destination files. If you choose not to overwrite the existing files, the only files copied are ones that do not exist in the newer release.
The Merge option is only available for certain file types. Instead of copying the entire file over, the contents in the old version merge with the new version.
If the Merge option is selected, you can choose to overwrite existing entries.
For example, if you added a number of catalog entries and modified others, merge without overwrite will bring the additions over but the modified records from the older version are not merged. All existing catalog entries in the newer version remain unchanged.
