To Search for and Open Drawings

Find drawings either by Name and Location, or by Date Modified.

When searching by name and location, you can use wildcards in the file Name path.

When searching by date modified, search for drawings modified between a specified range of dates or within a specified number of months or days.

1. Click the Application button Open Drawing.
2. In the Select File dialog box, click Tools Find.
3. Do one of the following: and click Find Now.
   • On the Name & Location tab, specify Name, Type, Path, or any combination.
   • On the Date Modified tab, click either All Files, or Find All Files Created or Modified to specify a date range.
4. Select one or more files from the search results and click OK.
5. In the Select File dialog box, click Open.
