- At the Command prompt, enter WMFIN.
- In the Import WMF dialog box, select the WMF file that you want to open.
- If necessary, change the import options for WMF files.
- In the Import WMF dialog box, click .
- To import objects without solid fills for wide polylines and solid hatches, select Wire Frame (No Fills).
- To maintain the relative line width of imported lines and borders, select Wide Lines
- Click OK.
- In the Import WMF dialog box, click Open.
- Specify an insertion point for the WMF file.
- To specify the scaling, use one of the following methods:
- To specify the X and Y scale factors by picking points in the drawing area, enter c and pick a point in the drawing area. The X and Y dimensions of the box formed by the insertion point and the point you picked become the X and Y scale factors.
- To specify scale factors for each axis, enter xyz and enter a scale for each axis when you are prompted.
- To retain the original size of the image, enter 1.
- To enlarge the image, enter a value greater than 1. For example, specify 2 to double the size of the image.
- To shrink the image, enter a decimal number between 0 and 1. For example, specify 0.5 to halve the size of the image.
- Specify the rotation angle.
