You can display the Properties palette while retaining a view to the drawing underneath by applying transparency to the palette.
Note: Transparency is not available if the palette is docked or hardware acceleration is enabled.
To adjust the transparency of the Properties palette
- On the title bar of the Properties palette, click
(Properties), and then click Transparency. - In the Transparency dialog box, adjust the transparency.
If you want to… then… increase the transparency drag the slider to the right. decrease the transparency drag the slider to the left. turn off transparency select Turn off window transparency.
