AMTHREADEND2D (Command)

Inserts a thread end from a standard content library.

Summary

A wizard enables you to select the type, the view, and the nominal diameter of the thread end to insert. In the front view, you drag to specify the length. Only the thread ends listed as standard content are available with this command. Use the AMCONTENTLIB command to access custom content.

Use the Select an External Thread End dialog box to select the type and the view to insert. Depending on the selected view there are differences in the insertion process. In the Nominal Diameter dialog box, select the size.

Insertion point

Specifies where to insert the thread end.

Rotation angle

Specifies how far to rotate the thread end about its insertion point.

Drag size

Specifies the length of the thread end.
