To Modify a Detail View Style (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

When you change the settings of a detail view style, all detail views that use that style update.

Note: Detail view style settings of model documentation detail views that have been overridden do not update.

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
3. In the Standard Elements list, expand the Detail View node.
4. Double-click the detail view style to edit.
5. In the Modify Detail View dialog box, make the required changes.
6. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
