To Define Centerline Properties for Individual Views (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

The procedure assumes that Automatic Centerlines is turned on in the Options dialog box. It also assumes that an Inventor link base view and another view of a part that includes a hole, a circular edge, or a fillet already exists in the drawing area.

Note: Inventor Link is available only on 64-bit systems, and it is not installed by default.
  1. In the drawing area, right-click and choose Edit View.
  2. Select the base view to edit.
  3. In the Edit Drawing View dialog box, choose the Display tab.
  4. Select Automatic Centerlines, and then choose Centerline Settings.
  5. In the Automatic Centerlines dialog box, change the centerline display to apply to holes, fillets, or circular edges. Remember that this is not just a visibility toggle. Centerlines are either created or deleted based on these settings.
  6. Define the projection display of the centerlines. The view type you are editing is already selected.
  7. Click OK.
