Selection lock is on (default). When the reference lock is on you must activate components or folders before grip editing the geometry they contain. This acts as a protection from inadvertently changing geometry, which may be referred to by other components. |

Selection lock is off. The system does not prevent you from grip editing component view or folder geometry of components and folders that are not activated. |
