To Delete an Instance of an Xref Component (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the mechanical browser, right-click the instance you want to remove, and select Delete.
2. The instance of the external reference component is removed from the mechanical browser and the corresponding geometry is removed from model space.
