AMPLRIVET2D (Command)

Inserts a plain rivet from a standard content library.

Summary

A wizard enables you to select the type, the view, and the diameter of the plain rivet to insert. In the front view, you drag to specify the length. Only the rivets listed as standard content are available with this command. Use the AMCONTENTLIB command to access custom content.

Use the Select a Plain Rivet dialog box to select the type of pin and the view to insert. Depending on the selected view there are differences in the insertion process:

Insertion Point

Specifies where to insert the rivet.

Hole length

Specifies the depth of the hole the rivet fits into. You can enter a value or specify a point in the drawing area.

Rotation angle

Specifies how far to rotate the rivet around the insertion point.
