To Configure Leader Settings for Dead Joint Symbols (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
3. In the Standard Elements list, double-click Dead Joint. The Dead Joint Settings dialog box appears.
   Note: Only the GOST standard and custom standards based on GOST supports dead joint symbols
4. To change the Arrowhead shape, in the Leader section, in the Arrowhead list, select the arrowhead.
5. To change the arrow size, in the Leader section, in the Arrow size list, select the size.
6. To change the leader color, in the Leader section, in the Color list, select the color.
   Note: To acquire the arrowhead shape, arrow size, and leader color from master settings, select the list item marked “By NameOfCurrentDraftingStandard᾿ in the respective lists.
7. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
