To Copy an Entire Layout (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Instead of copy Inventor link drawing view by drawing view, you can copy an entire layout.

Note: Inventor Link is available only on 64-bit systems, and it is not installed by default.

1. At the bottom of the drawing area, right-click the Layout tab to copy.
2. Click Move or Copy.
3. In the Move or Copy dialog box, select the layout to copy.
4. Select Create a copy.
5. Click OK. Notice that three things happen:
   • The new layout name is displayed in the Browser.
   • Beneath the layout name, all of the drawing views from the original layout are named in the new layout hierarchy.
   • A new tab is created at the bottom of the graphics screen with the new layout name.
6. Click the new layout tab to activate it. All of the drawing views from the original layout are copied.
