Using AMOFFSET, you can create new objects at a specified distance from existing objects or through specified points. This offset capability lets you create concentric circles, parallel lines, and parallel curves.
The AMOFFSET command is like the AutoCAD OFFSET command, with the exception that with AMOFFSET you can create multiple objects at different distances (offsets) from the selected object.
Along with the AutoCAD Mechanical toolset offset command, you can use the AMOFFSETLAYMODE system variable to control on which layer the program creates new offset objects.
