To Insert a User-Defined Through Hole in the Top View (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMUTHOLE2D.
2. In the Select a User Through Hole dialog box, select Top View.
3. Specify the insertion point for the through hole (1).
4. Specify the rotation angle (2).
5. In the Nominal Diameter dialog box, select the size.
6. Choose Finish.

Note: All types of holes are inserted in the same manner. The insertion prompt can differ slightly depending on the type of hole inserted.
