Inserts a steel shape from a standard content library.

Summary

A wizard enables you to select the type, the view, and the size of the steel shape to be inserted. In the side view, drag to specify the length of the steel shape. In other views, specify the length in a dialog box.

You use the Select a Steel Shape dialog box to select the type and the view to insert. Depending on the selected view there are differences in the insertion process.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Insertion point

Specifies where to insert the steel shape.

Rotation angle

Specifies how far to rotate the steel shape about its insertion point.

Drag size

Specifies the length of the steel shape.
