AMSHAFTLNUT2D (Command)

Inserts a shaft lock nut and a lock washer on a threaded segment of a shaft.

Summary

A wizard enables you to select the type and the view to insert. If the system cannot find a size to fit the shaft, you can select a size from a list of available sizes.

You use the Select a Shaft Lock Nut dialog box to select the view.

Note: To insert a shaft lock nut, a thread has to be inserted in the shaft.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Insertion point

Specifies a point on the shaft contour to place the nut.

Centerline

Specifies the centerline around which to draw the nut.

Drag size

Specifies the length of the nut. You can enter a value or specify a point in the drawing area.
