To Change the Color of the Background (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. Click the Display tab.
3. Click Colors.
4. In the Drawing Window Colors dialog box, in the Context list, select 2D model space and in the Interface element list select Uniform background.
5. In the Color list, select the desired color.
6. Click Apply and Close.
7. In the row corresponding to the object you want to modify, click in the color column. The Select Color dialog box appears.
8. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
