Converts external reference (xref) components or folders to local components and folders, by copying their definitions into the current drawing.
List of Prompts
The following prompts are displayed.
- Object to localize
- Specifies the type of object to localize. You can choose between component, folder, annotation view, and all objects.
- Component/Folder/External Annotation View to localize
- Specifies the name of the object to localize.
Note: If you can't remember the name, type ? and then press ENTER.
- External component/folder/annotation views to list
- Displays the names of objects that can be localized. You can type the first few characters of the item name followed by a wild card (*), and then press ENTER to list the names that begin with those characters.
- External children
- This prompt is displayed only if the xref object chosen for localization contains other xref components or folders, To localize those components/ folders as well, press Y, and then press ENTER. To allow those components/folders remain xref entities, press N and then press ENTER.
