To Create a Leader Note Using the Symbol Library (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

The leader note symbol library applies the most appropriate template to the note text corresponding to the object the note is attached to.

1. Click Annotate tab > Symbol panel > Leader Note. Find
2. Select an object to attach the leader note to.
3. If you attached the symbol to a line, in the drawing area, specify the start point for the leader.

   If you attached the object to an arc, circle, ellipse, or spline, skip to the next step.

4. Specify one or more points to define the vertices of the leader, and then press ENTER.
5. Click Leader Note tab > Library panel > Templates. Find.
6. From the list of templates, click the template to apply.
7. In the note text editor, change the note text as required.
8. Click Leader Note tab > Close Editor panel > Close. Find.
