Saving Images with AutoCAD Save

You can use the AutoCAD Save option to save the changes to your images.

The AutoCAD Save option is standard for most Autodesk products that use AutoCAD Raster Design toolset. When you save in this way, the correlation data for the images is stored in the drawing. The next time you open the drawing, the images are displayed.

Note: You can use the AutoCAD UNDO command to undo each edit that you make, back to the last time you saved your drawing. The information pertaining to these edits is saved in a buffer file that can become quite large and reduce the performance of your system. Saving your drawing and images clears this buffer.
