This setting specifies whether to create an image thumbnail whenever you save an image.
Image thumbnails greatly increase the speed at which you can preview images in the Raster Design Insert Image dialog box, the Histogram dialog box, and the AutoCAD Image Adjust dialog box.
Saving an image thumbnail with each image increases the image file size only slightly. For more information, see Saving an Image.
