The Information option allows you to view basic information about the palette as a whole.
The Palette Information dialog box displays the following information:
- Palette Type: Grayscale or Color Palette
- Used: number of colors used in the image
- Unused: number of colors not used in the image (256 – Used)
- Palette Status: Modified or Unmodified
- Image Status: Modified or Unmodified
- Background Transparency: ON or OFF
