AutoCAD Mechanical 2022 Known Issues

The topic contains important information about Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical 2022.

Content Library Selection

• All standard content libraries installed by default. When installing with the Autodesk® desktop app, the standard content libraries are installed to their default location, regardless of the settings specified in the Autodesk desktop app.

Bill of Materials (BOM) and Parts list

• Exporting of the BOM and parts list to Microsoft Excel 95 format is not supported.

Standard Content Template

• Some of the standard content templates are updated. You may be prompted to update the content when you edit the part from existing drawings in AutoCAD Mechanical 2022.

Autodesk® Vault Basic 2022 (Client)

• Please sign in with your Autodesk ID and download the Autodesk Vault Basic (Server and Client) from https://www.autodesk.com/account.

Inventor Link

• The Inventor Link feature is installed by default. There is no option to customize the feature installation in AutoCAD Mechanical 2022.
