This drive mode is included as a quick way to insert parked vehicles. For example, when designing a loading bay you may wish to model the case in which the bays on either side are occupied. The mode is functionally equivalent to starting an AutoDrive command and canceling after the vehicle has been positioned.
- Select
Park a Vehicle from the
Autodesk Vehicle Tracking menu or click the
Park a Vehicle button on the
Vehicle Tracking toolbar.
- If you have a default vehicle set up, then Park a Vehicle uses this vehicle. If you want to use a different vehicle, see

- If you have a path pre-selected then Park a Vehicle uses the current vehicle and position. Otherwise…
- The Library Explorer is displayed for you to select a vehicle. Select a vehicle and click

- Position and orient your vehicle and click
Finish.
Note that if you move the vehicle over an
Autodesk Vehicle Tracking parking bay, the vehicle will automatically park in the correct position and orientation in the bay.
The vehicle is inserted as a path with no length and can, if needed, be selected and driven just like any other existing path.
