Creates surface point data from AutoCAD Line objects.

Parameters

lineIds: Type: ObjectIdCollection
An ObjectIdCollection of AutoCAD Line objects from which the surface point data will be added.

needMaintainEdge: Type: System.Boolean
Specifies whether to define the Autodesk Civil 3D triangle edges based on the edges defined in the original AutoCAD object.

description: Type: System.String
Specifies the description for the point data to be created.

Remarks

The XYZ coordinates of each line's endpoints are used to define surface points.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
System.ArgumentException	Thrown when the ObjectIdCollection contains objects of types other than Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.Line.
