InfraWorks Dataset Manager Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to reload bridges into a drawing from a updated IMX dataset, to view the dataset properties, and to remove the bridges from the drawing.

After you use the Open InfraWorks Model command to bring bridges in an InfraWorks IMX dataset into Civil 3D, you can use the InfraWorks Dataset Manager dialog box to reload the bridges if the bridges have been changed.

For more information, see About Working With InfraWorks Bridges in Civil 3D.

Check Box
Selects datasets to reload or delete.
Name
Displays the name of each dataset that has been brought into the drawing.
Status
Displays the current status of each dataset:
  • Loaded is displayed if the dataset in the saved path has not been changed since it was brought into the drawing (the drawing is up to date).
  • Out of Date is displayed if the dataset in the saved path has changed since it was brought into the drawing. You can view the status of the IMX dataset by clicking the link in the Properties cell. To reload the dataset and update the drawing, select the check box and click Reload.
  • Not Found is displayed if the dataset cannot be found in the path shown in the Saved Path column.
  • Unknown is displayed if the IMX dataset does not have a corresponding JSON file that contains the dataset property information. This may occur if the associated JSON file is missing, if the dataset was output from an earlier version of InfraWorks, or if the dataset was output using the Export to IMX command rather than the commands on the Publish Civil Structures context menu in InfraWorks. Neither status nor properties can be displayed for such a dataset.
Note: An associated JSON file is created when an IMX dataset is published from InfraWorks using the commands on the Publish Civil Structures context menu.
Saved Path
Displays the path in which the dataset is stored.
Properties
Opens the InfraWorks Dataset Properties dialog box.
Note: If Unknown is displayed in the Status column, properties are not available for the dataset.
Reload
Reloads the bridges in the IMX dataset into the drawing. This updates the drawing with any changes to the bridges and also updates the bridge projections in profile views.
Delete
Deletes the bridges from the drawing. The Delete option will completely remove the bridges in the dataset from the drawing.

Only the bridges that were created in the drawing from the selected IMX dataset are removed from the drawing. Other object types that may have been created in the drawing from the IMX dataset are not deleted.
