Before opening the traverse file, select one of the following options from the Draw drop-down list:
Points and Lines: Creates COGO points and a polyline in the drawing.
Points: Creates only COGO points in the drawing.
Lines: Creates only a polyline in the drawing.
Note: The points that are created in the drawing will use the default point style and point label style specified in the
point feature settings unless description keys have been entered in the Description column of the Traverse Editor. Polylines are created on the current layer. The temporary graphics that are displayed in the drawing use the color of the current layer.
In the
Traverse Editor, click
.
Select the file and click
Open.
Note: You can open TRV2 files (the current file format) and TRVX files (an earlier file format created in the previous coordinate geometry editor tool). The Traverse Editor saves all files in TRV2 file format. If you open an older file format and then click
, the Save As dialog box is displayed.
The
Traverse Editor is populated with the traverse data, and a preview of the traverse is displayed in the drawing.
In the
Traverse Editor, adjust the parameters as necessary.
Create additional sides as needed, and then specify the requisite parameters.
On the main toolbar, click
.
To open the file in the
Traverse Adjustment dialog box, click
Load Balance Tool
.
