To Replace a Rail Turnout Catalog

An existing turnout catalog can be replaced by another catalog with the same catalog name and unit (as they exist within the JSON file).

Note: The catalog file names can differ but the "name" within the JSON file must be the same.

The following catalog modifications are supported:

• Adding and removing models
• Modifying model parameters
• Modifying model parameter values

1. Click Rail tab Content Turnout Catalog to display the Turnout Catalog dialog box.
2. In the row for the catalog that you want to replace, in the Replace column, click .
3. Navigate to the location for the turnout catalog. By default, this is C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D 2022\enu\Data\Railway Design Standards\Turnout.
4. Select the new catalog and click Open.

   The Map In-Use Turnout Model dialog box is displayed.

5. Review the changes described in the Differences column.
   Note: If the Differences column is blank, the in-use model was removed from the new catalog. Select a replacement model to use from the Model (In New Catalog) column.
6. If you want to keep the existing catalog loaded in the drawing, select the Keep the Old Content Catalog check box. The cached catalog in the drawing will be renamed.

   The Turnout Catalog Replacement Results dialog box is displayed.

7. Review the changes and optionally save the results by clicking Save As at the bottom of the dialog box.
